As part of the project to revitalize the town center, the Municipality wanted to create an interesting, engaging solution to the temporary problem of currently vacant shop windows on Main Street in the town center.
Studio Vaudou proposed an animation project for the shop windows that enlists the local residents’ participation, whereby they propose subjects for exhibitions including showing their own works. Additionally, Studio Vaudou organizes presentations of pupils' works in the arts and sciences, encouraging engaging themes of local historical and current importance such as extraordinary facts of inhabitants, etc.
Many citizens have responded favorably—participating in, and enjoying the ongoing exhibitions. Shop-owners themselves and nearby businesses are also appreciative of this vibrant revitalization and enhancement, as are the owners of the shop windows. All parties are pleased with the project results.
