The subject of this artist's book is La Visée, a text by Pierre Fankhauser. It evokes a walk in the night through the landscape, off paths and roads. I have treated the subject of night as a matter in which one progresses, where the reduced perception of things is compensated for by the imagination.

A first version of this work was produced for the Lausanne University Library Prize (BCUL) competition, awarded during the artist's book triennial “Tirage Limité”. This edition took place in September 2019 at the Alexis Forel Museum in Morges, as part of the event “Le Livre sur les Quais”. A copy of this work was purchased by the BCUL for its Réserve Précieuse.

The present version entitled “Trajectoire Nuit” has been expanded with new images. Excerpts were selected from the original text La Visée proposed for the competition.
